It's a market that begins timidly but soon flourishes.
I am very sure as of now very few people in Cameroon can picture the benefits of investing in Movie production and marketing.

Are there some smart Cameroonians out there who have already begun?

it is hard to tell since we are so far behind. We lack the market, but with good scripts, acting, editing and prodcution we can tap into foreign markets.

How do people who sponsor movie productions make money?
Seriously I don't know how they make their own share of the cut.
Someone enlighten me.

Piracy is the first enemy to the film industry. It's hard to feel how painful piracy is until you get into the film production, marketing and distribution sector. When you invest and can't even make out half of your investment just because of pirates you feel like abandoning the industry.
The first step to combatting piracy is not buying pirated DVDs. It's the easiest way to shut down the piracy market. BUT HOW MANY OF US CAN DO THAT?

I disagree with you Mr. Admin.
The solution is movie producers should make original dvds cheaper
